Highly Credentialed Experts Backed by Industry-Defining Research and Standards
LRC employees have conducted 10s of 1000s of indoor environmental assessments. Our Director of Research, Dr. Eugene Cole, was on the original committee that generated the standard in the remediation industry (IICRC S520 and S500).
LRC employees have or are:
- Certified Microbial Investigators (CMI) credentials
- Certified Microbial Consultants (CMC) credentials
- Water Restoration Technicians (WRT) credentials
- Certified Asbestos Inspectors (CAI) credentials
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials
- NEBOSH International General Certificate holder
- Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Chemistry, Microbiology, and other relevant areas
- Master's degree in public health microbiology
- Doctorate degree in public health in biohazard science/occupational health
- Registered environmental health specialist with the state of North Carolina and the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) since 2009, with experience in child care and school sanitation inspection
- Former professor of environmental health sciences
- Former Senior Lecturer in the Environmental Technology and Management Program at North Carolina State University.
- Training in fungal microscopy from the Harvard University School of Public Health
- Training in medical mycology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, GA
- Former Environmental Safety Officer in the US Army
- Former environmental laboratory manager at one of North America's leading environmental laboratories
